Quiet Time Book
September 29th, 2010
I know, that”s a lot of pictures! But I wanted you to see the whole thing. I spent countless hours working on this special book for Ulysses, and perhaps other little ones waiting in the wings. I had one of these books growing up that I adored. I have strong memories of sitting on my grandma”s lap and going through the pages with her–her teaching me how to braid and tie shoes. I”m planning on waiting to give this to Uly on his second birthday; it requires some motor skills he hasn”t quite developed yet!
My book is based off of the book I have, in addition to inspiration from these lovely bloggers:
Empty Bobbins
Moda Bake Shop
Posie Gets Cozy

Gorgeous! I wish I had the patience to make one of these for my girls. It never makes it to the top of my list. Yours is sure to be a success (keeping them occupied and quiet) and a treasure.

It”s so amazing and even better in person! I can”t believe you whipped that out so quickly…! You were like, “I”ll probably be working on this for a couple years,” and then 2 months later, BAM, it was done!!
