Uly's Stocking

Uly's Stocking

And this is Uly’s stocking. I had a ton of the most gorgeous vintage abalone buttons (who was that from?). They were each different and well worn. Some of the intricate designs looked hand-carved and had been worn down so you often have to peer closely to see them. I have been saving them for ages and decided this was the perfect project. This stocking is for Ulysses. He seems to really like it. The hand beading took many many hours, but I love how simple and grand it is at the same time.
