Pants for Uly

Pants for Uly

This is my first foray into pants-making and it was fun! I made a pattern from one of Uly’s pair of pants and then stitched these up. It didn’t take too long, but it wasn’t what I’d call a quick project either. I made four pants in total, all from Ryan’s old T-shirts and fabric I had on hand. I really like the lightening pants. He looks super cute in them.

I wasn’t happy with the photos and couldn’t figure out how to take a decent or interesting photo, given the light and the shape of the pants. Oh, well.

Life with Uly has become quite fun. He’s really morphed from little tiny baby to somewhat of a kid with a sweet demeanor. We have quite a bit of fun together. I’m headed back to work part-time next week. I’m a bit apprehensive and excited about it–hopefully we both enjoy spending time with other people two days a week.

Love the pants! Please post a pic with Uly in a pair! The scissor fabric is darling.
