Here’s the final production of the Christmas gifts: giardiniera and sweet pepper sauce. I added a recycled paper topper with fabric ribbon, a small fork, and a hand towel with a quilted touch. I think it shapes up really nice!

And, I purchased some fabric from Repro Depot. It’s from Denyse Schmidt’s line of fabric called Katie Jump Rope. I love it all. I’m not sure what kind of quilt to make with it. Anyone have a suggestion? It’s also a Christmas gift, but it might not get done until next Christmas… we’ll see how speedy I am.

What lovely and quite tasty Christmas gifts. Good for you for being so organized. I’m only half-way there with my own gift making but I will definitely be done by Nov. 15–that’s my target.

What great gifts! I love your presentation of it all! I have Christmas on the brain big time, but I am knee deep in fall right now that I can’t give Christmas a second thought… any news on when that 30 hour day is coming?!?!

Wow, Christmas? It’s not even Halloween. But handmade gifts do take time and care to make. Love the towels and the fabric (and the tiny forks!

You might be interested in this. I don’t know if Morsbags is a project you are supporting. If you haven’t heard of it, Morsbags is a project that bring s together sewing, recycling, the environment and socialising and does something positive to reduce the number of plastic bags being used – 1 million are consumed per minute globally – of which hundreds of thousands end up as litter and in the oceans. The idea isto make reuseable bags and to give them away to raise awareness of the environmental problem.

Would you log on to http://www.morsbags.com and see if you think you could support the project.

    Thanks for your time.

    Oggie
