Trips and Fun
July 23rd, 2007
We’ve been running around doing lots of fun things, like going to a Mariner’s game, visiting the Ace Hotel in Portland, having high tea, and the non-vegetarians tried some crab party snack… ewe. Our visit to Portland was much more enjoyable than the last time around. I think the city has redeemed itself, at least the Pearl District was fantastic. We did venture outside of it to the Country Cat Dinnerhouse and Bar, which was fabulous eating and had a fatty breakfast at Voodoo Donuts. Who wouldn’t love Captain Crunch on a donut? The weather held up at first for our guests, but it’s been downright dreary of late. A whole week solid of gray skies and actual rain, not just a drizzle. The air is starting to feel muggy. I’m hoping for some clear skies soon.

Ohmygosh, I met the guys who owned VooDoo donuts. They are a trip, too too funny! They visited some of my co-workers when I was living in Farmington.

I miss Portland! Living here in Idaho right now is not nearly as exciting.
