Hazelnut Thumbprint Cookies
March 25th, 2006
You’ll have to excuse my lack of crafty posting. Some of my family is in town and we’ve been running around New England: Boston, Providence, New York. However, I did make these delicious cookies in preparation of their arrival, as usual from the Martha Holiday Cookies magazine. I’m trying to make all 100 recipes… I will eventually get there and hopefully won’t gain dress sizes in the process! These are Hazelnut Thumbprints with apricot jam. Click through for the recipe. I’m also posting the recipe for the funky Cherry Noodle Casserole mentioned here on the recipes page.

Thanks for sharing – I’ll have to give these a try. One of my all time favorite cookies is my grandma’s thumbprint recipe – always walnuts & red currant jelly. At Christmas I usually have to make 3+ batches because my friends enjoy them so. :)

Mmmm…looks tasty. I’m all for anything with apricot jam.
I know what you mean about the dress sizes! I’m going to have to refrain from baking for a while if I’m going to have any hope for bathing suit season! I can never decide which is better–baking, or being skinny. I think I’m going to go with the baking!

Every time I stop in to check for an update, I’m faced with these cookies and have a mad urge to reach into the screen and nab one. Can you tell I’m going through sugar withdrawal?
