I think that is what people are calling it. This was a t-shirt of Ryans that for some reason had yellowed on the shoulder seams. I used one of Ulys existing shirts to make a pattern and sewed this up on the serger. This is one of those super soft light-weight jersey fabric-types. I have never worked with it before and it got wonky in a hurry! I had to rip out the collar and try again, but it all worked out. He is starting to think these mama-made items are pretty cool, which is fun.

We made this blanket fort for his firetrucks to play in the other day. He lined them (6!) up and I set this up using great great grandmas quilt. It felt a little sacrilegious or special and sweet; I couldnt figure out which. I just loved how the light was coming through it like a stained-glass window. It was so pretty!

So cute in dada’s shirt! You know, I think he looks a lot like you in these pics – adorable. Very special and very sweet to line his sacred fire trucks under great, great, grandmother’s quilt. I love it.
