These are some pictures of my brother and new sister-in-law’s wedding. My mom designed and handmade most of the decorations you see; she’s very crafty, too. I helped out with the cupcake stand and assembly of everything on the day-of. It was an absolutely gorgeous ceremony, reception, and day. The bride and groom couldn’t have been more perfect.
The whole wedding was held at the Lairmont Manor in Bellingham, a perfect place for a wedding. We rented a few large houses on the ocean for everyone to stay at and had a few days of visiting and partying with family and friends before and after the wedding–so fun and so smart!

This is a baby blanket I whipped up in a moment of crafting time, kindly supplied by my husband. I used leftover fabric I had on hand, which was nice. I love using up the stash. Of course, shortly after I made this I purchased about five yards from Sew Mama Sew. It was lighter for a few moments at least. We’ve been having a lovely Indian Summer (although in this photo with the babe it would appear we’re in the dead of winter; it was a cold morning). It’s been so sunny and gorgeous outside, we all feel very blessed. Uly and I have been spending most of our time out of the house. We go for long walks together and run errands. It’s been a very busy summer. My brother just got married off this last weekend and my best friend gets married in a few short weeks! We’ve had lots of company and celebrations.

These are cards for Ms. Aja’s bridal shower. I based them on some very very pretty gift tags Posie Gets Cozy made for a gift tag swap I did years ago. These were great to use up some scraps of paper and fabric I’ve been saving, as well as some flowers, leaves, and other objects I’ve been storing up over the years. I’m really happy with how they turned out.
