Ulysses at Three Months
We just got back from taking the baby on his first plane ride to Kansas. It was a long, long trip–I swear it takes longer to get to Wichita than it does to get to London. The baby did amazingly, though! He hardly cried at all and even managed to sleep the last leg of the trip on the way home. We had an excellent visit with family and everyone was just tickled to meet him.
I’ve been doing little crafting this summer, although I have managed to make substantial progress on my quilt and I should have some photos of a few other small projects I’ve worked on to share soon. Mostly, though, the babe is my main project. We take lots of walks and small trips, as he adores being out and about, and really so do I. He’s cooing and talking, plays with some toys, and enjoys a few small games with us. He’s sleeping mostly through the night and has generally endeared himself to all with whom he comes into contact.
Oh, and I am so sorry to all of you who have this blog on your reader. Unfortunately, my “How to Hem Jeans” page creates a lot of traffic and makes me very susceptible to being hacked (I’ve now been hacked four times), and someone’s gone after my reader. My husband is promising to fix it, but it could take some time since we will have to reinstall everything.
[Update: The RSS hack should be clean for now. If you refresh your Google Reader all but a few posts have their content back and the spam should be gone. Moving from Word Press to Expression Engine soon. - Ryan]
