I am 60 years old now and I have never made a Quilt but I have saved tie's from my Grandfather, Father, Husband and 5 years ago My Son Died at 26. Please do not feel bad about that He was a strong Christian and I know he is OK. I am the one with not a lot to do now, so I want to make a quilt out of about 100 or more Tie's from 1920's to my son's prom tie ( It is black with white poke dots.) But like I said I do not ever really know how to sew very well! Could you give me a patter or some idea about the next step? I will pay for the patter if I need to but I'm not sure how this works. I have gone into a few stores about quilting and they do not seem to know or ever seem one made from mens ties. Thank you for your time and showing me your beautiful quilt.
